Born 1973 and raised near Frankfurt at Main in Hesse.<\/p>\n
Master of Arts in German Literature, Media Science & Musicology at Philipps-University in Marburg in 2002. During studies I’ve started filming and editing as autodidact working at different post production facilities.<\/p>\n
Since 2003 settled in Berlin.<\/p>\n
Work as freelancing Editor, Director of Photography, Director & Photographer in Berlin for German TV channels like ZDF, arte, 3sat and Germany’s first queer TV channel TIMM and work for notable companies & agencies.<\/p>\n
Three documentaries I’ve edited participanted at the Berlin International Fim Festival (Drifter, D: Sebastian Heidinger; Dream Factory Kabul, D: Sebastian Heidinger; East West: Sex & Politics, D: Jochen Hick).<\/p>\n
From 2009 to the End of 2015 I was lecturer for the “Aesthetics of Montage and Digital Editing” at Kaskeline Filmacademy in Berlin (now filmschool.berlin) .<\/p>\n
In 2012\/13 I worked as executive producer for the Mauser M12 hunting rifle campaign and shot three commercials in Finland.<\/p>\n
Since 2013 I’m married to my beautiful wife who gave birth to my lovely daughter in the same year.<\/p>\n
From 2014 to 2016 I was publisher of the German blog magazine {R}Evolution about sustainability issues.<\/p>\n
I worked as Director of Photography and Editor for Nils B\u00f6kamp’s debut feature film “You & I” which was theatrical released in fall 2015. There was a US release in Mid 2016 as well.<\/p>\n
In 2015 I was the executive producer of German Vice-Chancellor’s video podcast (agency: butterberlin).<\/p>\n
In 2016 I was participant of the Documentary Campus Masterschool program. There I developed the multi-part international documentary webseries with the working title “MILLENNIALS – A Portrait of a Generation” which we pitched at the Leipzig Networking days in end of 2016. Producution Company is Boekamp & Kriegsheim in Berlin.<\/p>\n
Since 2017 I started at DocYOurEventCom<\/a> a full media service for events.<\/p>\n I’m also working on a new documentary with the working title “THEY PREDICT US.
